Greene Memorial Hospital has received a ‘Straight A’ from the Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Grade. This designation recognizes Greene Memorial Hospital’s dedication to protecting patients from harm and providing safe health care and that the hospital has earned an ‘A’ five consecutive times.
“At Greene Memorial Hospital, patient safety and quality is our top priority,” Rick Dodds, president of Greene Memorial Hospital. “To know we earned an ‘A’ is a great honor and shows our commitment to our patients and the community.”
The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization committed to health care quality and safety. The Leapfrog Safety Grade uses several measures of hospital safety data including, preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, infections, and other harms to patients, from more than 2,600 acute-care hospitals in the United States twice a year.
