Fort Hamilton Hospital has received a "Straight A" from the Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Grade. This is the fifth consecutive time the hospital earned an "A" rating, demonstrating Fort Hamilton Hospital's dedication to protecting patients from harm and providing safe health care.

"Earning an 'A' five consecutive times is an honorable achievement and proves our staff's ongoing devotion to our patients and the community."
The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization committed to healthcare quality and safety. The Leapfrog Safety Grade uses several measures of hospital safety data including, preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, infections, and other harms to patients, from more than 2,700 acute-care hospitals in the United States twice a year.
