I provide personalized care to meet my patients' needs. I incorporate the science and art of medicine in my care for patients. I give my advice to patients based on the available evidence in medical literature, their individual needs, and family support system. Some patients—based on their age and family circumstances—need more help through physical therapy while others will need more help through a social support system. As a hospitalist, I have to make timely decisions on when to provide aggressive care for critically ill patients and how to provide a clear understanding of a patient's diagnosis, treatment plans, and the possible outcomes so they can make informed healthcare decision.
