Hospital will host seminar on treatment for bone, joint and muscle injuries
A Sports and Injury Clinic has recently opened at Soin Medical Center in Suite 330 of the Ollie Davis Pavilion. Soin Medical Center is located at 3535 Pentagon Blvd. in Beavercreek.
David Buck, MD, a primary care physician fellowship trained in sports medicine, is seeing patients for the rapid treatment of new bone, joint, or muscle injuries, as well as sports-related injuries like concussions. The clinic is offering pre-participation sports physicals for student athletes. Dr. Buck is credentialed to conduct ImPACT© (Immediate Post-concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing), a baseline brain function test whose data could be used to better manage a concussion should such an injury occur.
